Provincial and Territorial Construction Safety Associations have been established to meet their local needs and to provide contractors with quality safety information, resources and training. A gathering of the established construction safety associations and those embarking on creating one in their province or territory began meeting annually in the early 1990s.
CFCSA members continue to meet on an annual basis. The generally accepted practice is to have the 'host' construction safety association act as the chair for the meeting and to be the initial contact of CFCSA inquiries in the year leading up to the annual meeting.
